Jingle Bugs Festival Party!
Come and have a lovely musical time with your little one at our Jingle Bugs Festival Party! Jingle Bugs is an engaging, creative, guitar-led music class, born 15 years ago right here in Reigate!
Suitable for 0 to 5 year olds along with their grown-ups!
Music activities can help develop your child’s language skills, numeracy, motor and social skills, as well as their natural love for music! Share the fun that music can bring with percussive instruments, pom poms, the big parachute, props and puppets! Finishing off with a mini-disco and bubbles a-plenty!

Acrylic Seascapes Painting
Come and escape with acrylics in this 90 minute painting workshop. Local artist Kiri from Kiri Jones ART, will guide you in creating a series of inspiring seascapes as pictures to take home!
No experience necessary, just a desire to have a go at acrylic painting in a supportive space.
Suitable for 16yrs+. All materials will be provided, but it's recommended participants bring an apron or old shirt with them.

Family Singing Workshop
Join Franklin Music for a fun, inclusive family singing workshop led by Nikki Franklin. Designed for children aged 6+ and their grown ups, this session brings everyone together through song, rhythm and simple vocal harmony. No experience needed, just a willingness to join in. We will learn a song together and explore how singing as a group builds confidence, connection and joy in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
All children must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling (16+).

Drama Club – for Adults!
Enjoy a friendly session of drama games, improvisation, text work and collaborative scene-building from the team who run the weekly Franklin Drama Club for Adults! The session is open to anyone who would like to have a go at drama, or re-discover it in a relaxed and fun environment.

At Drama Kids, we build confidence, communication, and teamwork using a structured curriculum led by trained teachers. No experience needed—just bring energy and imagination!

Ever wanted to try your hand at creative writing but were unsure how to get your words onto the page? Join Rob Walton-Kinghorn who, with nearly 20 years experience teaching English and Creative Writing at Reigate College, will use stimulus texts to help guide you into producing your own short story. No experience necessary, just a positive attitude and willingness to get your creative juices flowing!

Summer Junk Wreaths – Family Art Workshop
Bring your grown up and come and make a vibrant Summer Junk Wreath to celebrate the festival, in this 90 minute family art workshop. Local artist Kiri from Kiri Jones ART will show you how to have fun with junk and create a wreath to take home!

Dance Free – Festival Session!
Dance Free is a chance to do just that - in a totally relaxed space, no need to get dressed up, no need to buy drink after drink, no need to wait ages for the good tunes to kick in, no harassment, no agism, no judgement… just a chance to fall in love with dancing to great songs from the 70’s to current hits.
Open to all, suitable for adults. Any participant under 18yrs needs to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.

Lino Printing Workshop
Chantelle Shekyls, a Director at Reigate College, will be running a Lino Print Workshop to encourage more people to take up this hugely rewarding print form, that can easily be continued from home, with just a little know-how and a few essential items!
Suitable for beginners and those who’ve done some lino printing before, aged 14 and above.
Produce six hand-printed cards to take home with you, using either your own design or one provided.

Wellbeing Workshop – Letting Go Into Creativity
Come and re-charge on Festival Sunday with a specially curated, nurturing session from the team at Reigate Wellbeing Centre!
Letting Go Into Creativity is a two-hour wellbeing workshop for anyone who wants to step away from pressure and overthinking, and reconnect with creativity in a more natural way.
Across four gentle guided practices: sound & toning, emotional release, qigong-inspired mindful movement, and deep relaxation, you’ll be invited to listen inward, let go of tension & expectation, and explore what creative flow feels like when there is less striving and more space.
Suitable for adults 18yrs+. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing. All equipment will be provided.

Do you love theatre? Come to a friendly session, bring a cuppa, read some iconic playscript excerpts and enjoy a lively discussion about all things theatrical!
We will enjoy reading some plays together; exploring theatre styles and directors' approaches and discussing current live productions. Led by Nicki from Nicki Day Creative, experienced drama practitioner and coach. All welcome, just bring your passion for all things theatrical!

How to plan a crime story! – Creative Writing Workshop with Niki Mackay
Ever thought about writing your own crime novel or short story? Come and learn the basics of plotting crime fiction with author Niki Mackay. This workshop will teach you a little about beginnings, middles and ends and you will come away with some fun plot points for your own story.
Aspiring writers, don't miss this golden opportunity to learn from an established author - Niki will include a writer's Q&A as part of the session!
Niki is a novelist and short-story writer specialising in the darker areas of fiction. Her debut novel, I Witness, was shortlisted for the Luke Bitmead bursary and was published by Orion in 2018. Her latest novel The Due Date, published by Headline, made it to no. 13 in the UK Kindle charts, 65 in the USA and was no.1 in 3 categories.
Niki is also co-founder of The Story School a creative resource to discover your own writing style.

Patchwork Scrap Bag Making – Family Workshop
Come and make your own fun and functional bag using recycled fabric at this textiles workshop led by the team from Knights Haberdashery.
Suitable for 8yrs+ and adults.
