Reigate College's Head of Art, Chantelle Shekyls will be running a Lino Print Workshop to encourage more people to take up this hugely rewarding print form, that can easily be continued from home, with just a little know-how and a few essential items!

Suitable for beginners and those who’ve done some lino printing before, aged 14 and above.

Produce six hand-printed cards to take home with you, using either your own design or one provided.

Cost: £25 per person (no concessions). Booking details to follow.

Ever thought about writing you own crime novel or short story? Come and learn the basics of plotting crime fiction with author Niki Mackay. This workshop will teach you a little about beginnings, middles and ends and you will come away with some fun plot points for your own story.

Aspiring writers, don't miss this golden opportunity to learn from an established author - Niki will include a writer's Q&A as part of the session!

Niki is a novelist and short-story writer specialising in the darker areas of fiction. Her debut novel, I Witness, was shortlisted for the Luke Bitmead bursary and was published by Orion in 2018. Her latest novel The Due Date, published by Headline, made it to no. 13 in the UK Kindle charts, 65 in the USA and was no.1 in 3 categories.

Find your voice in this fun, 90 minute singing workshop! Whether you dream of joining a choir, a band, or just love to sing, all are welcome, any age. SalsaBug are delighted to be bringing their intro to Salsa workshop for new beginners to the Reigate Summer Festival. No previous experience or partner required! Join Salsabug's very own Paul & Wendy to master the basic Salsa steps and have lots of fun along the way with this uplifting rhythmical dance!

Come and wind down with watercolours in this 90 minute painting workshop. Local artist Kiri from Kiri Jones ART, will guide you in creating an array of spring and summer flowers as pictures to take home!

No experience necessary, just a desire to have a go at water colour painting in a supportive space.

This class is open to anyone who fancies a boogie! 'Street dance' stands for freedom and creative expression through movement, and 'commercial' encourages you to be strong, sharp and sassy! Led by Sophie Holder from SN Dance local studio offering hip-hop, street & commercial dance styles. In this fun session you will learn choreography to a tune you can't help but move to!

Ease into Festival Sunday with this session of gentle movement, combined with restorative and energising breathing and visualisation. Led by Nicki Day, experienced Qi Gong Practitioner and founder of 'Chi Yana' Energy & Movement Community.

This standing practice is open to all abilities, but can also be done seated if preferred (please consult your health practitioner prior to taking part if you have any health conditions).

Come along to this friendly lunchtime session to enjoy reading excerpts from iconic playscripts; exploring theatre styles and directors' approaches and discussing current live productions. Enjoy a creative session of collage paper-making in this 90 minute art workshop. Have a go at making papers then use your materials to produce a picture to take home! Led by Jane Wardle, local artist, sculptor and creator of the Reigate Summer Festival Puppet!

No experience necessary, just a desire to have a go at this enjoyable art-form in a supportive space.

Suitable for 10+yrs. (Anyone under 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult). All materials will be provided, but it's recommended participants bring an apron or old shirt with them.

Love playing music but unsure how to start soloing or improvising? Bring your instrument and explore blues and rock soloing in this 90-minute workshop. With guidance from experienced musician Nikki Franklin, founder of The Franklin Music Centre in St. Johns, Redhill, and support from a professional rhythm section, you'll gain techniques and confidence to create your own solos.

Join Rob Walton-Kinghorn who, with nearly 20 years experience teaching English and Creative Writing at Reigate College, will use stimulus texts to help guide you into producing your own short story.
