Reigate Summer Festival partners with three local charities, one of which is Reigate Community Centre. As a main festival venue, the Community Centre is a permanent partner. Loveworks and Renewed Hope were the other two partners for the first three years. In order to include as many local charities as we can and give the most benefit, we now change these two charity partners every two years. For 2027 and 2028, our charity partners will be Stripey Stork and Include. You can support our charity partners at any time of year by donating to their shared Givewheel account.
Stripey Stork is a baby bank that collects and redistributes baby and children’s items to families in Surrey and Croydon who are experiencing hardship, ensuring they have the essentials they need.
Stripey Stork believe every child deserves the same start in life. By recycling, repurposing and rehoming the items local families have outgrown and gifting them to families in our community who need a helping hand, Stripey Stork transforms the lives of children experiencing poverty and hardship by providing the practical items they need most. These items include clothing, shoes, school uniform, school bags and school equipment, moses baskets and cots, prams, equipment for babies, nappies and wipes, toiletries, toys and books.
It is not uncommon for Stripey Stork to provide help for more than 350 families living in Surrey and Croydon each week, and in the past 12 months they have supported over 30,000 vulnerable children. Behind every number is a child who is warmer, safer and better cared for, and this is only possible because of the kindness of Stripey Stork’s supporters and the hard work of their incredible volunteer army.

Include provides speech and language therapy-based community activities and training that promote inclusion and wellbeing, empower people with communication needs and develop communication skills with individuals, services and communities.
Through community activities, training, consultancy and creative projects such as the Include Choirs, Include empowers people to communicate, connect and participate in their local communities. Combining professional expertise with lived experience and coproduction principles, Include helps individuals and organisations create more inclusive communities where everyone can Be An Includer – everyone has a voice and the opportunity to belong.
You can support Include.org and the difference they make all year round – remote or in person volunteers, corporate supporters, fundraising challenges or donations are always welcomed – there really is something for everyone!

Owned and run by Reigate Methodist Church in the heart of the town, Reigate Community Centre is staffed by incredibly kind and friendly volunteers and provides a safe, welcoming cafe and flexible spaces for hire by groups, classes and businesses.
Since opening in 2011 the impressive building has been used by thousands of visitors and dozens of groups and organisations. The support shown by the volunteer team at Reigate Methodist Church and Reigate Community Centre to the Reigate Summer Festival organisers, has been overwhelming.
