Reigate St Mary’s Choristers (The Godfrey Searle Choir)

Reigate St Mary's is one of an elite group of fewer than 40 schools who can claim full membership of the Choir School Association (CSA), and the only one not attached to a cathedral. Named after its founder, who bequeathed his home to the school, the Godfrey Searle Choir maintains a valuable legacy, singing Morning Prayer and Evensong each week in St Mary's Church, led by Talitha Glynne-Jones. 

They will be first to perform on the Community Stage at the Church in the High Street (Reigate Methodist Church), from 5-5.30pm on Friday 20th June, providing a rare and beautiful opening to the second Reigate Summer Festival. All welcome.

Reigate & Redhill Festival

The Reigate & Redhill Festival takes place every year in May, with 2025 being the centenary year. A gala concert is held after the main Festival, which features exceptional performances from all sections.

Two particularly large sections will feature in the Reigate Summer Festival, including a number of talented pianists, who have particularly impressed the adjudicators during the Festival. Several young performers from the Speech and Drama section will also feature.

Franklin Voices

Franklin Voices is a vibrant, dynamic and welcoming community choir with groove at its heart! The choir meets every Monday evening to sing, connect, and create uplifting music. With live musicians accompanying the performances, energy and soul is brought to every song.

Beyond singing, the group loves to socialise, with a range of events offered throughout the year. From experienced singers, slightly shy or nervous singers to those who just love to harmonise, Franklin Voices is all about voice, rhythm, and community with a bit of a laugh along the way.

Franklin Voices are the vocal ensemble that supports the Franklin Music Centre and you'll find them at events and concerts throughout the year including Reigate Summer Festival.

Reigate School of Ballet

Established in 1963, Reigate School of Ballet teaches over 1200 happy local children, providing a safe and nurturing environment to grow, not just as dancers, but also confident individuals for life. The primary ethos is to give everyone opportunities to perform and learn, and ensure all children learn to love dance, and have the confidence to say "I CAN DO IT".

Reigate School of Ballet offers classes in ballet, tap, commercial street, modern, musical theatre, contemporary, toddler dance, acro and adult dance and fitness, catering for children of all abilities. Some of this will be on show at Reigate Summer Festival when they perform on the Community Stage.

Voicerox

Voicerox Choir was established in November 2009 by singer and vocal coach Melanie Lewis-McDonald, as a way of bringing her professional experience in the rock and pop industry to her local community.

The choir boasts over 100 members from all walks of life with one thing in common - they love to sing!  Over the past 15 years, they have performed in theatres, recorded at Abbey Road Studio and performed at the Chorus Festival at London’s Royal Festival Hall.  They also regularly perform concerts at Reigate Methodist Church, where they rehearse every Tuesday evening during term times. They cover a variety of songs from the past seven decades, so there’s always something to bring joy to everyone!

Salsa Showcase Event

If you fancy learning Salsa before showing up to this Salsa Showcase event, then book yourself into Wendy and Paul's intensive 60 minute Intro to Salsa Workshop, Saturday 21 June, 1.30-2.30pm in Somers Hall on Slipshoe Street, £7.50 per person.

Once you've mastered the basic steps during the workshop you'll be able to show off your sizzling new dance moves with members of their dance groups, plus anyone interested in joining in! The more the merrier! The event will take place OUTSIDE the front of Reigate Methodist Church (on Reigate High Street) - 3-3.30pm pm on Saturday 21st June.

With their fun and exciting teaching style alongside their vast expertise this will be an interactive session not to be missed! 

Come along and see this uplifting showcase and be prepared to have some sashaying fun, either watching the fabulous dancers, or joining in with Salsa's intoxicating rhythms.

Reigate College Choir and Students from the College's A Level and BTEC Music courses will be performing on the Community Stage from 3.30pm-4pm on Saturday 21st June.

The students will perform a variety of choral pieces as well as piano solos and a selection of vocal duets and solos.

Reigate College Musical Theatre Showcase

Reigate College Musical Theatre students will perform a medley of songs from Sister Act the Musical  - a stage adaptation of the 1992 hit film Sister Act, featuring music by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors and The Little Mermaid).

The story follows Deloris Van Cartier, a spirited and ambitious nightclub singer in Philadelphia, whose life takes a sudden turn when she witnesses her gangster boyfriend Curtis commit a murder. Fearing for her life, she goes into hiding, with the help of the police, in the most unexpected place – a convent.

Dunottar Choral Society

Dunottar Choral Society is a very friendly choir who love to welcome new members.  There are no auditions and no requirements to read music.  

Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings during term-time, from 7pm-9pm in the Ballroom at Dunottar School, Reigate, RH2 7EL.

The choir sing from a wide repertoire, from major choral works to musical theatre, sacred to pop music. The aim is to perform at three events per year, as well as at the Dunottar School Carol Service.  There are also social events and collaborations with other choirs to look forward to.

Vocal Dimension Chorus

Vocal Dimension Chorus is an award-winning a cappella chorus. They are thrilled to have been invited to perform once again at the Reigate Summer Festival and look forward to sharing their music on the Community Stage.

Established in 2010 in Redhill, Vocal Dimension’s motto is ‘Making Music And Having Fun Doing It’. They enjoy entertaining and performing at all sorts of events. As well as their own concerts, the past year has seen them perform in locations as diverse as the Long Room at Lord's Cricket Ground and St John’s College, Cambridge, though to summer weddings, local care homes and pubs at Christmas.

Their repertoire spans chart-toppers and show tunes right through to classical and swing. Their passion extends to the competitive arena, where they regularly compete in barbershop contests. Representing the UK, they have won medals on the international stage in cities like Baltimore, Las Vegas and Louisville, USA. Just last month, they travelled to Sweden to compete as part of the European Barbershop Convention 2025.
