Design plans revealed for main stage at Reigate Summer Festival

Reigate Architects and UnusualExpo have released their plans for Reigate Summer Festival’s main stage at the south end of Tunnel Road. The scaffolding construction, which will be built by local firm Genetic Scaffolding, consists of a raised stage framed by the iconic Tunnel entrance.

Martin Wilkie, the owner of UnusualExpo and a long-term member of Reigate Business Guild, will be creating light shows and projections onto the tunnel entrance and the adjoining wall to add to the festival mood.

Simon Walter, the owner of Reigate Architects said: “It’s always an interesting challenge to create something exciting with very limited funds and we are extremely fortunate to have received a grant from the RBBC Town Centre Vitality Fund. This has made a huge difference and has enabled us to get the first Reigate Summer Festival off the ground”.
